Just when you think you’ve seen it all with disclaimers

Given our unnatural fascination with disclaimers, it was only fitting that the best disclaimer we’ve read was on the subject of: nature. We recently ran across a clever disclaimer at Nelson Rocks Preserve site. We don’t know who gets credit for the rock preserve disclaimer but, not to be outdone, a technology lawyer in Ontario adapted the disclaimer for use in cyberspace. You can view David Canton’s cyberspace disclaimer here, and his posting also provides a link leading to the original rock preserve disclaimer. For more on our unnatural interest, at least the one in disclaimers, see our previous posts Disclaimer Mania and Spreading a Virus: Tag, You’re It.
